mixed botanical slides
a mixed set of 31 botanical slides. some very early victorian (one dated 1875) with a few much later (two dated 1921 and one 1951). specimens vary from stained sections (horse radish leaf and date stone) to whole mounts such as leaf showing cluster cups. the majority are ringed and there are a variety of labels with most being pen and ink.

set of grass slides
an excellent set pf preparations made from a variety of grasses. 20 different species with stem and leaf examples on most. all double labelled with a pen and ink label dating from 1929 and a modern printed label for clarity. all stained and mounted in canada balsam which has now yellowed. all contained within a beech slide box with spaces for 120 slides. printed contents list
