reliability, its solid die-
built into the binocular head is a focusing bertrand lens for the alignment of the phase annular rings, and a dark slide position is incorporated to cut off stray light from the optical system during time lapse photography. the diaphot is supplied with a high efficiency 12voly 50watt halogen light source.
the condenser mount is central and can be raised out of the way to accommodate large roller bottles. it is focused by a heavy duty rack and pinion system. objectives x3.2 and x6.3 semi plan zeiss. x40 dl lwd with coverslip correction collar, x10 eplan dl and x20 plan dl. x10 widefield eyepieces.
