a very early bausch and lomb students microscope made in usa. early 19th century finished in black and brass. all original apart from stage clips. objectives 4 mm and 16 mm. eyepiece x5. coarse focus barrel movement. draw tube, single fine focus mounted on the top of the stand, and iris diaphragm built into the stage. collectors piece at a very good price.

this is a superb example that somehow seems untouched by time. serial number 226413 dates it to circa 1950 and the body work and chrome is in pristine condition. double turret with x10 and x40 watson objectives, mirror illumination with substage iris diaphragm. eyepiece x6, stage clips, separate coarse and fine focus controls. recommended

leitz Ks objective set
for a collector of leitz equipment this does not get any better. Ks objectives were developed by leitz to obtain the best resolution from emulsion layers and relatively few were made. this particular set are pristine and look as though they were never used, and this also applies to the objective pots and is reflected in the price.
