an early victorian pocket microscope finished in brass and complete with original wooden case. the microscope has a sliding focus system and gives approximately x50 magnification. swivel mirror illumination and as would be expected for its age the mirror shows some pitting, otherwise excellent.

victorian mahogany cabinet of unusual design. very well made and in good condition. 16 drawers holding 256 slides, the trays have mahogany bases with ivory knobs (two missing). ornate brass carrying handle. a very nice unit.
